We're a small team of everyday bill-splitters who got tired of doing math on napkins. TappyTabby started as a weekend project between friends who kept arguing — kindly — over who owed what after group dinners, and it grew into a tool we now use every single week.

TappyTabby was built on one simple principle: your data is yours, and it stays on your device.
TappyTabby does not collect any personal information. We don't require an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location. When you add friends, list items, enter prices, or note tips inside the app, that information is created and kept only on your own device.
Because we don't collect any information, we have nothing to use, analyze, or sell. Every calculation — splitting totals, dividing shared dishes, applying tips — happens entirely on your device, in real time, without ever being sent anywhere.
All data you enter — group names, item names, amounts, and totals — is stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud sync, no remote database, and no backup copy stored by us or any third party.
TappyTabby does not integrate third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs of any kind. What happens in the app stays in the app.
Because your information never leaves your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no external database to breach. Your device's own security measures are the only protection this data ever needs.
TappyTabby does not knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is gathered from any user, the app is compliant with COPPA by design.
You are always in full control of your information. There are no accounts to manage and no servers holding onto your history. Deleting entries in the app, or uninstalling it, permanently removes your information — since no backup exists anywhere else.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the app. If we do, we'll revise the effective date above.
